Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste has been attached to a single family since the 16th century, until merging with another family – the Borie – in 1978. So, as you might have guessed, the Lacoste-Borie wine celebrates the estate’s long history. Made from grapes grown on classic Médoc soils and aged in oak for 14 to 16 months, the 2016 vintage displays a medium-bodied palate with a saline, almost maritime tinge, plus notes of blackberry, briar, and peppery red fruit.
